Data downloads

The approved record as CSV and JSON, built live from the same public views as the pages, so a file never contains anything the site does not show. Independent record, not associated with Binance.

Row counts as of 2026-11-01T17:43:00.211Z. Each file is limited to 10,000 rows (the first by id) and says so in its first line.

Reading the files

CSV: the first line is a plain-text note with the generated-at time, row count and whether the file was cut at the row limit. Skip it when parsing (for example skiprows=1 in pandas). The second line is the header. Line endings are CRLF.
JSON: an object with generated_at, rows, truncated and a data array. Numbers that could lose precision are kept as strings.
Spreadsheet safety: any CSV cell beginning with = + - or @ is prefixed with a single quote so a spreadsheet reads it as text, not a formula. Remove the quote if you need the raw value.
Integrity: each download carries an X-Content-SHA256 response header with the sha256 of the file body. Statements also include stored_copy_sha256, the hash of the stored copy of the source page.
Attribution: rows are statements by their publishers, not findings of this site. Keep the publisher and link when you reuse a row.
Quotes: the verbatim quote is included only for official statements and government sources. Every other row has our one-line summary and the URL of the original, where the publisher's words are. The quote_included column says which.
Licence: Reuse of our summaries, labels and compilation needs credit to binancebreach.com with a link. Quoted words belong to their publishers; quotes from Wikipedia are CC BY-SA 4.0.
